Programs & Services
Family and Children's Services of Renfrew County offers a number of programs and services for children, youth, and adults in our area.
Family Support
We offer 3 Family Support programs including: Parents Anonymous®, Jubilee Place and Caring Dads.
Child Protection Services
The Ontario Association of Children’s Aids Societies (OACAS) has asked all Children’s Aid Societies across Ontario to remind our communities that although changes in services have been necessary in response to COVID-19, all CAS’s continue to deliver child protection services. As Family and Children’s Services of Renfrew County has communicated, we are available 24/7 if you have a concern about a child or youth and can be reached at 613-735-6866.
Fostering, Adoption, Kinship Services
Foster care should be a temporary stop on the road to permanency. It is the place where the journey for a child or youth in need of a safe home begins – whether it leads back home, to kinship care or adoption.
Adoption Disclosure

Family Visitation & Exchange Service
Visits and exchanges of children may become difficult in the event of parental separation or divorce. Parents may prefer, or the Court may order, that a neutral third party oversees such visits. Family Visitation & Exchange Services helps to create a less stressful visitation experience for both children and parents.
EarlyON Child & Family Centres
The first 6 years of life set the stage for life-long learning, behaviour, health and well-being. Our EarlyON Child & Family Centres in Pembroke and North Renfrew offer early learning activities for families and caregivers of children from birth to 6 years of age.
Indigenous Services
Waka-ehi Lodge (meaning “Sitting in Circle”) is a safe and supportive space for community to gather including all children, youth and adults seeking cultural connection and healing support.
Kumon
The Kumon Method has helped over 4 million students in 49 countries in the last 60 years – including thousands of students across Renfrew County. In a Kumon classroom, there are no blackboards and no lectures – students are given individualized lesson plans to help them progress at their own pace.
